Map of Bristol in 1480

Bristol is close to the Marches and was an important route into Wales across the Severn estuary throughout the Middle Ages. A map of Bristol as it would have looked in 1480 has been published by the Historic Towns Trust, as part of a larger project, ‘Making Bristol Medieval‘, funded by the University of Bristol.
